Preferred room and flatmate description
4 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms.
We are looking for a flatmate to share this amazingly beautiful house & garden in Birkdale.
Firstly, the photos (since I lack a wide angle lens) dont do justice to how big this property is. It's a large house and huge section (despite being only 15 minutes from town). It's also at the very end of a long ROW (off a quiet street) with no houses immediately nearby. The place is tranquil and will be the most relaxing place in Auckland to sunbathe, BBQ or drink with friends through the summer. Flick me a text/call/email and come see for youself!
The house has beautiful polished wooden floors, and a good flow from the kitchen to the dining room, to the massive lounge, to the conservatory, to the huge deck and garden. There are two toilets, two bathrooms (2 showers, 1 bath). We also have a fifth bedroom [a furnished cabin on the property] that is being used as a craft room and can host friends for the odd weekend. There is also a large proper garage with cupboards, workbenches & power.
The garden is gorgeous and has native trees including kowhai (and tons of native birds). We have roses, apples, lemons, feijoas, guavas, strawberries, passionfruit, mandarins, herbs & vegetables.
The rent is $165/wk + expenses for:
- 1 x double bedroom with built-in wardrobe, shelves and garden views.
- 1 x large single/small dbl room with view of native trees.
You can choose either room as a bedroom and use the other as an office/study. Internet is available in both rooms by both direct cabling & wireless.

Getting to town is easy by bus or car.
House comes with all whiteware & furnishings. The 2 rooms on offer are unfurnished. Desk available.

The rooms are available immediately. We would prefer a long-term tenant but will consider a fixed term to at least February. Will consider a couple. Will consider pets (apart from dogs).
